Thinking is acquired as concepts. This workshop provides the basis to a neuroeduca-tion approach to learning to think from literature on basic neuroscience, cognitive psychology, and language function, triangulated into the Neuro-Semantic Language Learning Theory (NsLLT). Participants will be able to take away some basic strategies for improved thinking.

Key Concepts: Thinking, language acquisition, language strategies, cognitive development
Learner Objectives: 1) Explain how thinking is learned through the NsLLT; 2) Explain the differences between thinking (conceptualization) and the use of patterns; and 3) Demonstrate at least two strategies based on the NsLLT.
